Wild Flowers
If you like them, please avoid
stepping on them, even in places that no others may come after you
leave.
This day is my first time out hunting for flowers. I got up at 5:30,
and took off at 6:00.
It was a overcast day. The sun was only briefly visible before and at
around noon. A good but not perfect day for shooting. Some of the photos
have been PS enhanced.
The first trail I hit on was posted by Xianren - parked the car at
the freeway exit and walked up about 3 miles.
1. This spot is 2-3 miles N/E from I-15 Lake Street Exit. Shot taken
on slop, about 50yd off trail near a power line tower.
The orange colored areas are patches of California Poppy flowers,

2. Further down. I should had brought a walking stick.

3. This view is from the Edison maintenance road trail. The Edison
entrance is 1 mile south of Lake St exit. Go about 3/4 miles take the
right turn go down and over two more hills. I sprained my ankle going down one
of the hillsides.

4. The blossom that quietly explodes, the livelihood that can not be
isolated

5. A touch felt in our hearts, a moment sweet as it has always been,
a day imprinted in our memory that will forever last

6. At 2:30pm, I came back into the mountains with pro photographer
Doug Sprock.
Besides California Poppy, the smaller flowers are
yellow Goldfields and white Popcorn Flowers

7. Follow the pro's angle of view . Each time I look at this photo, I
like it more. Thanks, Doug.

each other

21. Pro's Frame
This beautiful photo will always remind me of the great landscape
photographer, Doug Sprock, who generously taught me about wild flowers
and shooting wild flowers.

Digging further, I saved these photos.

While resting among large patches of flowers, I tried to catch a
butterfly. Only a few bees like this one showed up.
