George and I arrived the S. entrance at about 3:00 on
Saturday.
This is one of several long exp shots along the way.

When we drove by this meadow area, the moon was just
above the hill top behind us.

At 4:00 the Lady at the office of House Keeping Camp
Site was the only person we could turn to for guidance. She pointed me
to Glacier Point for Sunrise View.
I drove as fast as I could. The "good forty five
minute drive" turned out to be longer than an hour. However, we did not
miss sunrise, for there was no sunrise today.

Fog in the Valley

At about 7:00, the Sky Opened Up.

George at the Foot of Yosemite Fall

There are several good view points along the Yosemite
Fall trail. Only if the sky was not so dull!

'Wall Painting' on a Side of Half Dome

The Saturday hike was fun, despite our photo equipment made
our hike a bit more challenging. We made it and we were glad we did. On
the way down in the rain, George had a fall down the road side slope.
Luckily, it was a relatively less dangerous slope.
We decided not to do the Half Dome trail on Sunday and
went home early.
